Monica Tarantino is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) with ten years of experience and worked as Chief of Staff for a busy general practice in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Tarantino is co-founder of the Senior and Geriatric Dog Society (SAGDS) which focuses on training Doctors and Hospitals on how to elevate their senior dog care and produce better outcomes for senior dogs. Dr. Tarantino runs a social media platform called Senior Dog Revolution (@seniordogdoc) that focuses on helping pet parents of aging dogs navigate common challenges and providing information to help owners better care for their aging pets. She coauthored two veterinarian text books for new veterinarians; New Vet Jumpstart Guide GP Edition and New Vet Jumpstart ER Edition. She frequently rescues in-need pets and owns four rescue dogs and two rescue cats with the occasional foster animal for good measure.

Dr. Lauren Adelman is a born and raised Canadian, growing up in Calgary, Alberta before attending the University of British Columbia for her undergraduate degree. She was part of the inaugural veterinary class at the University of Calgary after which she went on to pursue a small animal rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles followed by a specialty Emergency and Critical Care Internship at NC State. After completing her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Tennessee and becoming board certified, Lauren returned to Canada to start her next chapter. Dr. Adelman currently works as a veterinary Internal Medicine specialist at Canada West Veterinary Specialists in Vancouver where she offers state of the art minimally invasive procedures to her feline and canine patients. Dr. Adelman enjoys educating pet owners and other veterinarians on her social media channel (@the_tinyvet) She has recently co-founded the Senior and Geriatric Dog Society focused specifically on enhancing the care of senior and geriatric canine patients. Outside of work, Dr. Adelman enjoys spending time at the beach with her husband, daughter and two dogs Joey and Freddie.
